There's nothing wrong with raising taxes as long as Raising Salaries goes with it. - Has ANYONE here seen the Famous "Vulture Chart" on the internet? Google it. - Those lines should NOT be a Right Triangle. - They should be running Parallel. That 1% is making out like ROBBER BARONS. There is no such thing as Big Gov't when population is rising and there are Billions to keep track of, especially in a Terrorist environment. - As long as that Right Triangle keeps widening, the 99% will keep suffering more & more until History Repeats Itself. The 1% bubble will burst & there will be a repeat of the French Revolution. The 99% will get Ugly. The 1% is ignoring the lessons of Past History. The Debt is directly tied to the GDP. The more people we have employed in Manufacturing & Export, the less we have to worry about national debt. Money & Debt & the Economy are Not finite numbers. - I don't know why the Koch brothers don't invest in new power systems instead of trying to continue to monopolize the old. It's power. They don't want to relinquish it. They're living in a false paradise.- Sarah Palin: She's the original "Don't tell me what to do" girl, but she sure does expect everyone to march to her tune. These people are not "Freedom". They are Anarchistic Opportunists tricking people to vote against their own best interests. Little or no Gov't means little or no Ambulances, Street clean-ups, Police, Education. It means Poor Services, or worse, Services performed for Profit & Cost-Cutting, not Compassion. At least, with Gov't, it's a Service, and the Profit Motive is removed. It's not perfect, but at least Greed can be ruled out. (Believe me, I have Italian grandparents. - They came to the USA from Sicily (about 1900) to start their 'Mom & Pop' & avoid the kindly business practices of the Local Services there.) When they tell you Big Gov't is a burden, they're wrong. Gov't is like anything else: it's Human. It's imperfect. But It's a service that is Necessary. - And for all those Right-Wing Bible Thumpers: Jesus said Whatever you have done for the least of them, you have done to me. (If you have fed them, or denied them) - Don't Challenge me on the Bible - on Generosity; Taxes; LGBT; Condemnation; Even the USA's place in Biblical History. I've studied it. If I don't know it immediately, I know where to look it up.
